Joanne Abbot Green is a founding principal and Executive Producer of Mondo.NYC, New York City’s annual music, arts, and technology business conference and showcase festival. Under her leadership, Mondo has become a premier global platform, bringing together leaders from music, media, law, technology, and academia to explore the future of the creative economy.

Previously, Joanne served as Founder and Executive Producer of the CMJ Music Marathon, where she helped grow the event from a small gathering into one of the world’s most influential independent music conferences and festivals. At its peak, CMJ welcomed more than 120,000 attendees, showcased over 1,400 artists across 90+ stages, and hosted more than 100 panels, workshops, and curated conversations annually.

Joanne has produced high-profile events at venues including Lincoln Center, the World Trade Center and New York University. Her programming has featured a wide range of cultural, political, and creative voices across music, film, media, and public life.

Joanne launched the CMJ Film Festival, helped develop NYU’s Artist-in-Residence Program, produced multiple Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs, and is a frequent lecturer at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She is a graduate of NYU Steinhardt and has received numerous honors recognizing her leadership and impact across the creative industries.
